Working Hard for Limestone County

Chet secured $1.6 million to widen FM 937, between State Highway 164 in Groesbeck to County Road 770. The project will straighten curves in the road, add shoulders, widen culverts and extend bridges to increase roadway safety.

Chet helped secure a $100,000 USDA grant to improve infrastructure at the Groesbeck Industrial Park.

As a member of the Rural Health Care Coalition, Chet is working to protect rural hospitals from hurtful budget cuts.

Chet is fighting to save vocational education funding and opposes taking tax dollars away from public schools to subsidize wealthy private schools.

Chet supports legislation that will bring affordable high-speed Internet access to our rural communities.
